For a number of years now, E. Bruderer Maschinenfabrik AG has made the training of young professionals one of its priorities. Every year, between seven and ten young people join us to be apprenticeships in a wide variety of professions. Indeed, we have one of the highest numbers of places for trainees of any employer in the region.
Our modern infrastructure combined with the attractive and varied positions that we can offer means that BRUDERER is able to train tomorrow's professionals in a whole host of sectors. And of course we do not only teach purely special knowledge – we put just as much emphasis on methodology, social skills and independence. After all, one thing is certain – reliable, responsible and creative professionals will still be a priority in the future!
BRUDERER has a varied and modern training workshop which it uses to teach technical professions. After an intensive training phase, apprentices then get to carry out "productive manufacturing tasks". And since we want to ensure that our training corresponds to the reality of the business world as closely as possible, we see to it that our apprentices get to grips with the concepts of quality and timely delivery right from the very beginning.
We consider it important that the training that we provide should be comprehensive, up-to-date and of course also interesting. During the basic professional training at BRUDERER, our apprentices get to carry out exciting project work, with youngsters from different year groups involved together. This enables them to gain further experience hand in hand with others while demonstrating the skills that they have acquired. We are also more than happy to make our modern infrastructure available to interns upon request. A number of companies take us up on this offer every year, and we also organise an annual compulsory workshop internship for design engineers.
Students at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) who are required to do an internship also come to us every year to be given demanding and varied tasks to undertake.
Career choice events:
In conjunction with regional high schools, associations and institutions, BRUDERER organises a large number of information events every year on the subject of career choice. Some of our past events include:
- AVA careers information
- Career choice course for businesses in Thurgau and the Upper Lake Constance region
- School development day at the Reben 4 school in Arbon
- Career research carried out with various school classes
- "Fascination with technology" stand at the Thurgau trade fair in Weinfelden
We would also be delighted to put together an individual programme tailored to your needs, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Throughout the entire training period, we make sure that both apprentices and teachers function together as a unit. To foster this team spirit and to get people all pulling in the same direction, we go on walks together, take in cultural events and go to visit interesting local businesses.
And of course once the apprenticeship has been successfully completed, the trainees get to go on an exciting end-of-apprenticeship trip!
