Trial apprenticeship – the ideal way to decide

Would you like to find out whether your chosen career is right for you? During a trial apprenticeship at BRUDERER, you gain hands-on insights, get to know our team and gain your first practical experience – straightforward and personal. Depending on the apprenticeship, a trial apprenticeship lasts between 2 and 4 days.

    Description

    Automation technicians build electrical control systems and power distribution units, manufacture electrical windings and locate and rectify faults in a wide range of systems. In collaboration with other specialists, you work on assignments and projects, assemble and solder printed circuit boards and carry out commissioning and functional testing. A major part of your work involves wiring control cabinets and testing electrical equipment.

    Automation technicians are characterised by an economical and environmentally conscious way of thinking and working. You complete your tasks systematically and largely independently. You are also used to working as part of a team and are open to new developments.

     

    Personal requirements

    You have a strong interest in mathematics and algebra, physics, and technical and electrical systems. If you also have good abstract thinking skills, enjoy working carefully and precisely, and are interested in the latest technologies, the profession of automation technician is the right choice for you.

     

    Training profile

    Requirements include completion of lower secondary education (intermediate level) – with level M in mathematics being mandatory – as well as good performance in mathematics, algebra, geometry and physics.

    Applicants should have completed intermediate secondary school level education (Level M is mandatory for mathematics where different ability levels apply) and demonstrate strong performance in mathematics, algebra, geometry and physics.

    Description

    Polymechanics manufacture components, produce tools and fixtures for production, or assemble devices, equipment, machines and systems. In collaboration with other specialists, you work on assignments or projects, develop design solutions and create technical documentation, or build prototypes and carry out tests. You are also involved in commissioning, as well as planning and monitoring production processes, or performing maintenance and repair work.

    Polymechanics are characterised by an economical and efficient way of thinking and working. You complete your assignments and projects systematically and independently. You are also used to working as part of a team and are flexible and open to new developments.

     

    Personal requirements

    You have a strong interest in mathematics and algebra, physics, and technical systems. If you also have good spatial awareness, enjoy working carefully and precisely, and are interested in modern computer-controlled machines, then the profession of polymechanic is the right choice for you.

     

    Training profiles

    Level G (basic requirements)
    Requirements include completion of lower secondary education (intermediate level) – with level M in mathematics being mandatory – as well as good performance in mathematics, algebra, geometry and physics.

    Level E (extended requirements)
    Requirements include completion of upper secondary education (advanced level) – with level E in mathematics being mandatory – as well as very good performance in mathematics, algebra, geometry and physics.

    Level M (Vocational Baccalaureate)
    Apprentices completing the programme at level E have the opportunity to attend the Vocational Baccalaureate from the second year of training onwards. Admission requires successfully passing an entrance examination.

    Note on training profiles
    The classification into “basic” and “extended” requirements applies only to vocational school. In-company training is carried out at the same level for all profiles.

They are also used to working as part of a team and are open to new developments. They follow the principles of occupational safety, health protection and environmental protection.

    You have a strong interest in mathematics, physics and technical systems. If you also have good spatial awareness and enjoy working carefully and precisely, then the profession of production mechanic is the right choice for you.

     

    Requirements

    You should have completed lower secondary education (intermediate level) and achieved good results in mathematics, geometry and physics.

    • Requirements: Completion of upper secondary education (advanced level)
    • Start: August

     

    Description

    Design engineers develop and create individual components and assemblies for devices, machines and systems, as well as tools and fixtures for production, in collaboration with other specialists. For producing workshop drawings, you use state-of-the-art 3D CAD software on the computer. You work on assignments or parts of projects, create manufacturing, assembly and inspection documentation, and develop the required production data. You also prepare instructions and documentation for the operation and maintenance of products.

    Design engineers are characterised by an economical and efficient way of thinking and working. You complete your assignments and projects systematically and independently. You are also used to working as part of a team and are flexible and open to new developments. You follow the principles of occupational safety, health protection and environmental protection.

    Description

    Logistics specialists in the warehousing field are responsible for the proper handling and management of goods and materials. You receive incoming goods, check them and record them in the ERP system. Using industrial trucks and/or complex conveyor systems such as order-picking equipment, you store the goods appropriately. When an order or request is received, you prepare the goods for delivery or shipment, package and label them, create delivery documents and load the vehicles safely and professionally.

    In addition, you regularly check inventory levels using the ERP system. Minimum stock levels, safety stock and/or reorder points – defined by upstream departments and stored in the system – support you in this process. Regardless of their specific area of responsibility, logistics specialists use the computer as an essential tool. You use it to record goods, carry out inventory checks, plan warehouse operations using basic calculations, create statistics and process orders.

    Logistics specialists are characterised by an economical and environmentally conscious way of thinking and working. You complete your tasks systematically, largely independently and reliably. You are also used to working as part of a team and are open to new developments.

     

    Personal requirements

    You have a basic interest in mathematics and technical systems. You also have good physical fitness. If you additionally have strong logical thinking skills, enjoy working carefully and precisely, and like a varied working environment with different tasks, then the profession of logistics specialist in the warehousing field is the right choice for you.

    Description

    Plant and equipment engineers are the experts when it comes to processing sheet metal, profiles and pipes. Good spatial awareness and manual skills are therefore essential – even in the age of robotics.

    Working mainly with metallic materials, you produce complex components such as complete control cabinets for our high-performance stamping presses.

    In addition to a modern workplace equipped with the latest welding equipment, you also work with computer-controlled press brakes, bending machines and laser cutting systems. An apprenticeship in this field opens up a wide range of career and further training opportunities.
