Proven mechanics. Precision that lasts.

The unique lever system of the BSTA series ensures that the loads generated during the stamping process are distributed evenly. This uniform load distribution, combined with minimal clearances – particularly within the drive system – is a key factor in the machine’s exceptional precision and long service life.

The ram guiding system, positioned exclusively within the strip running plane and designed to compensate for thermal influences, ensures precise guidance and therefore guarantees maximum tool life.

Thanks to the lever system, the hardened and ground adjustment spindles of the ram adjustment mechanism absorb only around 20% of the total load. This unique design allows the ram to be positioned precisely even during stamping operation and maintained within the tightest tolerances. As a result, it makes a decisive contribution to consistently high precision throughout the entire process cycle.

BRUDERER technology –maximum process reliability

Ram height adjustment

The most important criterion in stamping is maintaining a constant BDC position. The unique design of the BRUDERER drive system allows the ram position to be adjusted during operation, even under full load and at maximum stroke rate.

Both thermal and dynamic variations of the BDC position are continuously compensated, achieving a positioning accuracy of less than 0.01 mm.

Using the B3 control system, the reference dimension is compensated according to the process through:

  • Static and dynamic correction of the ram penetration depth
  • Measurement of the press force at any desired position
  • Evaluation of sensor signals from sensors integrated in the tool

Any deviations from the reference dimension are precisely compensated. The result is absolute repeatability and therefore maximum process reliability and part quality – Made by BRUDERER.

Load distribution

A stamping press operates under high dynamic loads 24 hours a day. The design of the drive system is therefore a key factor in ensuring long service life, maximum precision and lasting value.

BRUDERER's unique drive concept distributes the load efficiently: only 60% of the total force acts on the main and connecting rod bearings, while the ram height adjustment system carries just 20% of the load per side.

This intelligent load distribution minimizes wear, enhances process stability and preserves machine value over the long term. Even after years of continuous production, BRUDERER presses maintain their renowned precision and outstanding resale value.
